In respect of Gliders the following definitions apply
“Flight and Launching” means from the time commencing when the aircraft begins to move forward during the launching operation, or attempt thereat, and continuing thereafter until the aircraft ceases to travel forward under its own momentum after making contact with the ground.
“Ground” means whilst the aircraft is exposed to hazards covered by this Policy which are not either as to nature or as to time included under the definition of “Flight and Launching”.
“Transportation” means all periods during which the Glider is in, being unloaded into or unloaded from a specifically constructed glider trailer except coverage will extend to include circumstances where such a glider trailer cannot reasonably be used.
Glider trailer/s (to be declared separately if you wish it to be covered under the policy)
To cover physical damage to Glider trailer including whilst in transit/storage however excludes road liability. Third Party Liability cover to be arranged with your Motor Vehicle Insurer.
